At Selfish Clarity, the ideal is for you to love every piece you own.
If something doesn’t fit right or you simply changed your mind, we’re here to help with a clear and simple return process for all regions we ship to.
1. Return Windows
We offer the following return timelines from the date of delivery:

2. Eligibility Criteria (All Countries)
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
The item must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- Free from perfume, deodorant, sweat, or makeup marks
- Without any signs of wear
- In its original condition with tags attached
- Returned in original packaging
If you are unsure about eligibility, please contact us before returning the item.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are provided in the following situations:
3A). Faulty or damaged item
If the item arrives damaged or defective.
3B). Size unavailable for exchange
If the size you need is not in stock.
3C). EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
(EU customers may return for any reason within 14 days.)
Refund Method:
- Prepaid orders: Refunded to original payment method
- COD orders (India): Refunded as store credit or bank/UPI transfer (customer choice)
Bank refunds take 3–7 business days to reflect after processing.
4. Exchanges
Exchanges are allowed for:
- Size issues
- Colour or style changes (if item is available)
Exchanges depend on stock availability at the time of request.
5. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange (All Countries)
To ensure a smooth process, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Document the Item
Take clear photos of:
- The product
- Packaging
- Any defect (if applicable)
Step 2: Contact Us Within Your Region’s Return Window
Send the photos and your order number to us via:

Step 3: Collection or Drop-off
Once approved:
- India: BlueDart pickup will be arranged
- International: A pickup or local drop-off instructions will be sent
Step 4: Inspection
Once we receive the item, it undergoes a quality check.
After approval, we process your refund or dispatch your exchange.
Step 5: Exchange Delivery
Exchanged items are typically shipped within 4–7 business days after inspection.
6. Refund Timelines
- Refund initiated after inspection approval
- Refund-to-bank/card: 3–7 business days
- Refund-to-store-credit: Instant
- International refunds follow the same timeline after inspection

Non-refundable fees:
- Original shipping fee
- COD fee (India)
- Duties/VAT paid by the brand under DDP
(These are absorbed by Selfish Clarity and not charged again)
If the item is defective, all fees are waived.
8. International Orders: Duties & Taxes
International orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).
All duties, GST/VAT, and import taxes are paid by Selfish Clarity.
You will NEVER be asked to pay a customs fee at delivery.
9. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Final sale items
- Items marked as “Non-returnable” on the product page
- Items with signs of wear, odour, makeup, or washing
- Items past the return window
- Gift cards (if applicable)
10. European Union: 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to an EU country:
You have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason.
To qualify:
- Item must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition
- All tags attached
- Proof of purchase required
Refund conditions and inspection rules apply as above.
